Partnering with AgriFutures Australia

The 2035 Oceania Summit is delighted to be partnering with AgriFutures Australia and their evokeAG platform.

Since 2019, evokeAG has become the premier agrifood technology conference in the region. On 15 March 2022, AgriFutures will once again be hosting a major event; a one-day conference in Sydney at the Grounds of Alexandria. It will provide a platform for the region’s innovators, investors, researchers and farmers to meet and identify collaborative opportunities.

Since its inception, evokeAG has developed a strong trans-Tasman focus. In both 2019 & 2020, New Zealand sent large delegations of agritech professionals to join Australian peers in Melbourne. In 2022, more are expected to travel to Sydney to once again establish new contacts and potentially develop valuable new partnerships.

Peter Wren-Hilton, founder of Wharf42 and convenor of the 2035 Oceania Summit, has sat on the evokeAG steering committee since its beginning in 2018.

“This partnership fulfils a long-term ambition to see New Zealand & Australia agrifood tech sectors collaborate more closely on key agrifood issues that have global impact”, Peter says. “I can think of no greater issue than that posed by our changing climate on the region’s and the world’s farmers ability to produce affordable and nutritious food for a growing global population”.
